Phoenix Pro Scooters offers one of the best larger size pro scooter bars on the market coming in a a full 22 inches wide and in various heights, all the way up to 24 inches on the “extra large” Phoenix Suicide Integrated HIC Bar. These bars come with 5 degrees of back sweep (or rake) for that great BMX feel.
The 4130 Chromoly Phoenix Integrated HIC Suicide bars use hidden internal compression (HIC), but the great thing about these bars, is that the HIC compression COMES WITH the bars in the form of an integrated steel clamp that’s welded into the form of the bar. Included with the bar is the compression cap and bolt.
NOTE:These bars are NOT compatible with SCS or ICS and will NOT work with HIC shims and oversized clamps. In other words, you must plan on having a starnut in your fork’s tube for this HIC to attach to, and don’t plan on using a separate clamp because the bar comes with one that’s integrated. For threadless forks ONLY.
Because of the integrated clamp and included cap and bolt, these integrated Phoenix Suicide bars make a great upgrade without having to invest in expensive HIC and oversized clamps!
The integrated clamp makes this pro scooter bar stand in a class of its own! The Phoenix Suicide integrated HIC bar comes with a compression cap/shim and bolt. Simply slide your compression cap over your fork, screw the bolt into your fork’s star nut, slip your bars over the compression cap/shim, tighten the integrated clamp and you’re ready to go. No messing around with trying to get your clamp over your bars or stripping your clamp in the process. If you’ve felt limited by the sizes of many of the other leading pro scooter bars on the market that come in at 18”- 21” wide and top out at only 22”, then the Phoenix Suicide Bar may be just what you need.
