Decks

Pro scooter decks fall into two main groups:

• Standard Decks for conventional headsets: Compatible with threaded and threadless forks, the deck head tube takes a conventional threaded or threadless headset (purchased separately). The headset cups are pressed into the top and bottom of the headtube.

• Integrated Decks for integrated headsets: Compatible with threadless forks ONLY, the deck headtube is machined in the manufacturing process with integrated headset cups built into the headtube frame so the headset bearings (purchased separately) are seated inside the top and bottom of headtube. The advantage is that there is no need to install headset cups which makes scooter assembly simpler, plus the integrated headset has a thinner profile which gives the scooter a cleaner look. The most advanced, highest-end decks are “integrated”.

All scooter decks (standard and integrated) vary in width, length, degrees of concave and headtube length (which affects the brand of fork that is compatible).
